The house is organized around a central gallery that allows the more public spaces to face the dramatic mountain views of the north and east Sandia foothills. Private and individual spaces were disconnected and separated from the public and group spaces.
A series of simple building masses began to radiate from this main gallery that reflect the lifestyle and rituals of its owner. The final organization of the spaces became a “home” in which the owner began to experience a balance of his personal, spiritual and intellectual feelings.
