The primary objective was to simultaneously implement 2 state-of-the-art district fire stations for the City of Albuquerque. The architecture is the result of an intent to articulate the composition in a clear and visible structure that is well matched to the facility function and the nature of the materials. The modified modern aesthetic projects an honest expression of the function while melding with the varied surroundings and context of the Albuquerque-Bernalillo County Metropolitan Area.
